6 Things that could have changed the Seinfeld finale

Here are the 6 things that could have changed the Seinfeld finale. If you have an alternative theory, your comments are welcomed.

1. If George let Susan select the invitation

We all know that Susan character was killed due to the lack of chemistry with the other characters, which was likely affecting the show progress. But, imagine she wasn't killed. Now George is married, his only choice is to adapt and behave well, which changes some factors that might end him up bad. So there will be no witness against George in the courtroom and might have a reduction in jail time for the four of them. Because everyone in the court thought Susan is a victim of their behaviour.

2. If Elaine and Jerry opened up

Seinfeld is not a regular sitcom. It is a show about nothing which means it has nothing to do with love. Let's imagine they get back together, which means all the dates he mocked doesn't even exist. So there will be no witnesses from the people he dated in the courtroom and they might have a reduction in jail time.

3. If NBC continued the Seinfeld show on its first run

This means Seinfeld will completely end by Season 5 as a regular show with a happy ending. Probably season 5 will end like Jerry as a successful show, George might end up with Susan, Jerry with Elaine, and Kramarica (Business ideas of Kramer) pick up. Sounds feel good, but this spoils the show nature entirely.

4. If Kramer settled in California

This means Kramer is the first one to drift apart, which makes George and Jerry have an incomplete script for Jerry show or they might not have Kramer in their show. NBC already was in a dilemma to approve the show. So, Jerry is again not a successful show. So, everything bad will happen again to them ending Goerge, Jerry, and Elaine in Jail. Further, if any one of them drifts apart, the show naturally loses its charm as they all are fan favourites.

5. If Elaine chose the Bizzaro gang

This means that the show has to end in Season 8 miserably. Even if they end up in court, witnesses against Elaine will not appear. During its first season, the writers had no idea of adding a woman to the show. NBC made them add a new character as the show shouldn't end one-sided. That is how Elaine appeared and became the most necessary character of the show. Without her, the show might move further miserably.

6. If Jerry never bought a car for his parents

This means there is no voting against Morty Seinfeld presidency, and the old woman once mugged by Jerry doesn't matter anymore. So, one witness will get reduced in the courtroom.

Seinfeld Finale Review

Even if Seinfeld had an unusual ending, it doesn't spoil the shows nature. They did what they always did. I always loved the cameos of the mocked witnesses as it felt nostalgic. It doesn't mean the show preaches morality. It is the morality that the show should never change its nature. People say it is an unusual show with an unusual ending. And I say it is a natural show with a natural ending.
