Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman - சர் சந்திரசேகர வெங்கட ராமன் 

Birth - பிறப்பு - 7th November 1888

1903 - 1907

He completed his Bachelor's degree in Presidency College in Chennai. He also won Medals in Physics and English. He continued his master's degree in the same college.

சென்னையில் உள்ள பிரசிடென்சி கல்லூரியில் இளங்கலை பட்டம் முடித்தார். இயற்பியல் மற்றும் ஆங்கிலத்தில் பதக்கங்களை வென்றார். அதே கல்லூரியில் முதுகலை பட்டத்தைத் தொடர்ந்தார்.

1907 - 1917

For the next 10 years, he pursued his government job and worked as a part-time scientist alongside.

அடுத்த 10 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு, அவர் தனது அரசாங்க வேலையைத் தொடர்ந்தார் மற்றும் ஒரு பகுதிநேர விஞ்ஞானியாக பணியாற்றினார்.

His first Paper "Unsymmetrical diffraction-bands due to rectangular aperture" was published in Philosophical Magazine in 1906.

1921

In a ship in the Mediterranean sea, Raman began to doubt Rayleigh scattering and further discovers that the sea scatters the light too. This thinking sowed the seed for Raman Effect.

ஆவர் மத்திய தரைக்கடல் கடலில் ஒரு கப்பலில் செல்லும்போது, ரேலே சிதறலை சந்தேகிக்கத் தொடங்கினார், மேலும் கடல் ஒளியை சிதறடிக்கிறது என்பதைக் கண்டுபிடித்தார். இந்த சிந்தனை ராமன் விளைவுக்கு விதை விதைத்தது.

1930

He won the noble prize in the field of Physics for Raman Effect. ராமன் விளைவை கண்டுபுடித்ததற்கு இயற்பியல் துறைக்கான நோபல் பரிசை வென்றார்.

1933 - 1948

He continued to work as Professor in the field of Physics at the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore.

பெங்களூரில் உள்ள இந்திய அறிவியல் கழகத்தில் இயற்பியல் துறையில் பேராசிரியராக தொடர்ந்து பணியாற்றினார்.

He became the director and founder of the Raman Research Institute in Bangalore.

 பெங்களூரில் உள்ள ராமன் ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனத்தை தொடங்கினார்.
